Working together for success and happiness

English

For today, we would like you to begin writing your traditional tale with a twist. Recap the original story if you need to. This is at the bottom of this page.

We would like you to write up paragraph one and two today. If you created the storyboard yesterday then you may use the first two boxes to help you focus your sentences today.

If you did not access yesterday's session then please read the original story and for paragraph one, please write your paragraph based on these key events:

  •  Introducing the character Little Red Riding Hood and how she says goodbye to her mother and sets off towards her Grandma's house. Also include the first part of her journey where she stays on the path that goes towards Grandma's house (but don't mention the wolf yet).

Paragraph 2:

  • Include what Little Red Riding Hood can see on her journey
  • Write about her going off of the path and why she may do this (maybe seeing some rare flowers)
  • End this paragraph with her meeting the wolf (but don't write about them speaking to each other yet).

Read through the model to remind yourself of the features we are after. You can also use ideas from the model for your paragraphs if you wish (but please do not copy lots of text from it). You do not need to send this piece of work in to your teacher until you have finished all paragraphs if you wish to show the whole piece.
