Yesterday you read chapter 3 of Charlotte's Web. Today we'd like you to retrieve information from the text and answer the questions below. Remember to use the text to help you, give detail in your answer and use the question to form your answer.

2) Who is the first animal Wilbur speaks to on the farm?
3) How does Mr Zuckerman catch Wilbur again after he escapes?
4) On p22 it says, “Wilbur was dazed and frightened by this hullabaloo.” What does the word hullabaloo mean?

English
Today we are looking at SPELLING! This is the next part of our writing sequence!
You will be having a go at using different ways of practicing the ten words below.
These are all words you should have come across in your barn owl research. You could check their meaning before you start if you're not sure.
The slides underneath will talk you through the activities. There are some sheets too which you can use for a couple of the activities.
Once you have finished, give yourself a little spelling test and see if you have managed to remember them all!
WORDS TO PRACTICE:
crepuscular
heart-shaped
talons
wingspan
feathers
screech
pellets
population
regurgitate
hunting
Maths
This half term we will be focusing on 'Multiplication and Division'.
This morning we would like you to look at: Divide 2-digits by 1-digit (continued)
Watch the video first. You will need to keep pausing this to have a go at the tasks.
There are slides too (same as the video) if you need to look at this more slowly and carefully.
Then, complete the worksheet. Look at the questions on a screen and write your answers on paper. Remember, the later questions are normally problem solving and reasoning questions so give these your best shot. You may need a little bit of adult explanation for these.
