School Values
Our values are recognised and rewarded through exciting and engaging ways. As well as receiving weekly certificates through celebration assemblies, children earn points through our Class Dojo online platform which puts them in the running for for a variety of reward events such as hot chocolate and afternoon cake with their friends, tackling an assault course or even earning a book of their choice through our 'Wonder Value'.
Our School Vision
When thinking about how we wanted to share our vision for pupils, the staff at Clowne Juniors felt that 'pictures tell a thousand words' so we designed a School Vision wordle.
The ladder depicts what the adults bring e.g. knowledge, excitement, safety and encouragement.
Next, the cloud & umbrellas show what we hope the children will gain throughout their time at Clowne Junior School.
Finally, the rainbow shows the key 'Clowne Values' that underpin our behaviour policy. They are values we know are key to the children's success now and later on in life.
The 'Happy' sun stemmed from a conversation between staff. Our caretaker said it was her desire for all pupils to be happy and no one disagreed. Bring on happiness for all!
