Linky Thinks

Linky Thinks are used in our school as a way for children to show depth and breadth of knowledge. The pictures and associated vocabulary can be linked together in any way the children feel they can explain. There is not a 'right or wrong' answer as long as the children can explain either verbally or in written form why they have linked the vocabulary together. The children are able to choose how many they link together and if they deem that one does not fit with any others, they can always choose to write an explanation about this one on itself. This activity helps to show what knowledge the children have gained over the topic.
