Times Tables

We encourage children to practice their times tables at home as much as they can using the Times Tables Rock Stars website. This exciting tool allows children to raise their times tables knowledge while rocking out! 

The website includes a range of practice games and competitions which earns them coins to build their own avatar, buy guitars, crazy wigs and rocking costumes! 

Multiplication knowledge is incredibly important in Year 4 and underpins a huge amount of the Mathematics curriculum. Confident times tables knowledge means confident mathematicians so get rocking out and ready to multiply! 

As of June 2020, Year 4 pupils will undertake a statutory times tables assessment. All of the children will be fully prepared by school staff but lots of practice at home will support them in this even more. 

Children should have their login details for this but if you need this again, please speak to your child's class teacher.
