General Information

During Year 6, we aim to make your child ready for their transition to secondary school.

 

We expect them to grow in independence and confidence.

 

There is, of course, the statutory assessments that take place in May. However, we acknowledge that school life is so much more than this and hope to ensure your child has a broad and balanced curriculum that, not only prepares them for assessment, but also gives them a thirst for knowledge and learning that we hope they carry with them throughout their life. We also dearly hope they take away happy memories of their final year at Clowne Junior School.
