Working together for success and happiness

21/1/22

English

In English today, we will be continuing our new writing sequence... SUPERHEROES!

This will all lead up to you pretending to be a reported for a newspaper and writing all a newspaper report about the bus disaster we read about from the book, 'My Brother is a Superhero!'

This week, we will continue the sequence like we always do, by developing and learning all of the grammar techniques we will be using in our piece of writing.

Today, we'll be looking at using apostrophes of possession.

Take a look at the power point and then complete the worksheet below.

Maths

For the next few weeks or so we will be focusing on 'Multiplication and Division'.

This morning we would like you to look at: Dividing 2 digits by 1 digit.

Watch the video first. You will need to keep pausing this to have a go at the tasks.

Spr4.2.5 - Divide 2-digits by 1-digit (1)

This is "Spr4.2.5 - Divide 2-digits by 1-digit (1)" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Afternoon Activity - RE

We are thinking about 'Journeys' in RE this term. Have a look at the powerpoint and then complete the tree outline:

Your roots are the people and groups that keep you safe, inspire you and give you strength.

The trunk represents what you have achieved and done already.

Where are you going in life? What are your ambitions and dreams? These are you aiming high like the branches and leaves on the tree.

Represent your life on your tree outline.
