Monday 4th Jan
Maths
This half term we will be focusing on 'Multiplication and Division'. This morning we would like you to look at: Factor Pairs
Watch the video first. You will need to keep pausing this to have a go at the tasks.
There are slides too (same as the video) if you need to look at this more slowly and carefully.
Then, complete the worksheet. Look at the questions on a screen and write your answers on paper. Remember, the later questions are normally problem solving and reasoning questions so give these your best shot. You may need a little bit of adult explanation for these.
RE
Today in RE, we are continuing our work on why Jesus is seen as inspiring.
Follow the slides. It will give you some tasks as you go.
For the group task, it asks you to match the 'happiness statements' to the correct meaning. You can find these cards below. You don't need to print, you could write them or just simply look at your screen. (The first page gives The Beatitudes, the second page gives the meaning to match to them and the third page gives the answers).
You may need to discuss this task with someone at home as it tricky.
Continue through the slides, thinking about the questions it gives you or discussing them with people at home.
Then complete the task. The task asks you to write a set of statements that start with 'You are happy if...' Here are some examples:
You are happy if you care for each other.
You are happy if you are patient and calm.
Create around 6 happiness statements. You can present these however you like. You could add illustrations too.
