We had an Egyptian workshop visit school early during the Autumn term. The children learnt about the different gods and goddesses and had to collaborative in order create pictures representing their given god or goddess. Everyone was so creative and lots of questions were asked!
The children particularly enjoyed learning about how the ancient Egyptians used to weigh the hearts of pharaohs to see whether the heart weighed less than a feather.
The whole school undertook a trip to Creswell Crags where they learnt all about survival skills, Stone Age animals and they even delved into what it takes to become an archaeologist.
