Working together for success and happiness

English

We are continuing with out instructions on making our own animated slugs!

Today we will start our writing! You can use the title: How to Build a Flushed Away Slug.

Then you will need an introduction to introduce what the instructions will be about - they don't need to be really long! Could you include a question in here?

Here is an example to help you:

Have you ever seen the Aardman feature film Flushed Away and wondered how they create their fantastic characters? Have you ever wanted to know how stop motion turns a simple model into a moving illusion? Do you wish you could create your very own plasticine model just like the professional animation sculptors? Follow these instructions carefully and you can produce a singing slug straight from the cinema screen.

The last thing you need to do today is a 'You Will Need' box with a bullet point list of all the equipment you will need to build the slugs. Think back to making your slugs to help you do this.

Maths

We are continuing with our work on fractions. Watch the video below and join in where you can, then have a go at the worksheet.

Spr4.8.2 - Fractions of a set of objects (2)

This is "Spr4.8.2 - Fractions of a set of objects (2)" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Science

We have started our new topic 'Living Things and Their Habitats' and last week we looked at 'MRS GREN' - the seven signs that show something is alive.
Can you make a poster to show MRS GREN and explain what each letter means? You could include pictures as well.

There are some posters attached below - you can just do one poster, you do not need to do seven! These are just to help you if you have forgotten what each letter means.
