READING
We are using this 4 day week to promote a love of reading in our classrooms. During this time children will be read to by their teachers (Class Reader - Charlotte's Webb) and be given time to read their own books in a quiet , calm environment which we call D.E.A.R (Drop Everything and Read). We will also spend some time in our class 'Book Club' where we will talk about our book choices and recommend texts to others in our class completing book reviews for display.
PSHE
Think back on your favourite and more challenging moments this year. Were there things that you felt good/confident about and others that you struggled with? Did you learn something new during lockdown? It can be a good idea to share what you feel has been an important achievement this year? E.g. being brave, finding ways to relax, learning who you can lean on for support..
TASK: Record a couple of achievements on the trophy template and share these with somebody at home to spread positivity.
