Reading
Seen as we have completed our book study for this term, we thought you may like to practise your fluency.
Fluency can involve many aspects such as how quick we read, the expression we use and whether we are able to take account of punctuation.
For today, we would like you to focus on the speed of your reading and we would like you to give yourselves one minute exactly to read the text. How many words are you able to read? Have a second or third try to attempt to beat your highest score.
On the second page of the sheet are some questions relating to the text. We have chosen a Tudor one so that it links back to the History theme that we covered during the Autumn term.
