This term we have a new theme for our Topic lessons.
The title is -- STRIKES AND FLYING PICKETS
We will be looking at coal, mining through the ages and local mining.
The first lesson will introduce the topic.
LI: understanding what makes a historian, using a range of sources to gain information and generate questions.

Write a list of questions you would want to ask a historian about Mining from the evidence you have been presented with?
Outcome: Piece of paper. Two columns. One column for what we have learnt and the other for what questions we have. Take photo of paper plus all sources around it for front page of the book.
Underneath answer the question, ‘What have I learnt about being a historian today?’
