We have begun a new genre this week on Non-chronological reports. These are information texts that do not go in time order.
We have found facts from various websites and videos about lions and we have also analysed a model text which is a good example of a non-chronological report (the model text is attached below if you have not seen in before). Yesterday, we learned about sub-headings and how to use them in a non-chronological report.
Today's lesson-
Learning intention- Using subordinating conjunctions.
Your task-
Look at the model carefully and underline the subordinating conjunctions within the model. Once you have done that, now begin to write your introduction paragraph about your animal. Remember to use subordinating conjunctions in your paragraph.
Please see the PowerPoint if you would like a reminder of subordinating conjunctions.
