Flashback 4
We have now come to the end of our two blocks on multiplication as well as our blocks on money and statistics -you have worked your socks off this half term. Before we move on to the next unit of work after half term, we think it is important to do some reflection and consolidation of everything covered so far this half term.
For the next two days, we will be giving you a task that includes a range of questions that have been covered in the multiplication blocks. We have chosen to go back to reflect on the multiplication as there has been a gap since using these skills so it's good for us to use this as a chance to re-cap and check what you can remember. There is no pressure on time and if you want to go back and look at what you have done previously-either in your book or on the website-that's fine.
Here are a few tips to help you on your way:
- Use the methods looked at in that block
- Draw out or use counters to help with multiplication and division
- Use any equipment you have at home to help you e.g. coins, sweets, Lego etc.
Remember, these sheets are to help you practice and revise what we have covered so it's all to help you on your way!
Have a go at the sheet below and when you are happy with your answers use the answer sheet to mark your work and see how you've done. Don't get despondent or fed up if you have got something wrong it's more important for you to look at what you did and see if you can correct your work. Good luck and go for it! We know you are all fabulous mathematicians!
