Working together for success and happiness

Summary of lessons:

Week 1: We reflected on our own feelings and the types of emotions that we may come across in our lives.

We made feelings critters.

Week 2: We also learnt about how our feelings can change depending on the time of day or the situation we are in.

This week:

This week our Learning intention is to recognise a wide range of emotions in yourself and others.

We would first like you to play some uplifting music. Here are two different examples if you can't think of any yourself:

Notes to make: Have a think about how the music makes you feel. Write down your feelings/emotions. Now write down how you feel when someone smiles at you.

Task 1:

Complete the 'What makes you happy?' worksheet below.

Task 2:

Think about a time when you made someone else feel happy. It could be because you shared something with them, you were kind to them when they fell over, you helped them with their work or when you cheered someone up who had been feeling sad.

Complete the below questions relating it to your own experiences.

Here are a list of the questions that appear on the above sheet:

1)  Who have made you happy?

2) What did you do?

3) How did you feel?

4) Is this something you could do again to make this person happy again or could you do this to make someone else happy?

Think about what you are going to do every day to make someone smile.
