Working together for success and happiness

Tuesday

L.I. Identify, convert and use active and passive voice in sentences

Read the extract from Chapter 10, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban . This is where Fred and George give Harry the Marauder’s Map. Hogwarts has a fine history of troublemakers and Fred and George Weasley are notable owners of this title.

Revise active and passive voice using  the PowerPoint concentrating on identifying the voice of a sentence and changing it from active to passive or passive to active. Voice can be selected to write persuasively, manipulating the emphasis of a sentence.

Use the resources below which require you to recognise, to convert, and to use active and passive voice.

The resources and activities are divided into sections A, B & C,  which increase in difficulty. You can work through one or more sections.
