Working together for success and happiness

Thursday

L.I. Read extracts from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and answer questions

Think back to yesterday's lesson and Buckbeak’s attack on Malfoy. Today’s texts follow what happens after Malfoy is attacked by Buckbeak. They occur alongside other storylines and so there are gaps in time between them.

In the texts there is a lot of dialogue from Hagrid.  What do you remember about the way that he speaks? A few word examples include: ter=to, fer=for, yeh=you. This is informal dialogue and takes some practice to understand.

Read your chosen text/ texts and answer the questions about that extract.

The texts and questions are divided into sections A, B & C,  which increase in difficulty. You can work through one or more sections.
