Clowne Junior School

Working together for success and happiness

In school today we will be 'building character' by doing some digging.

If you are at home today, and have somewhere suitable, we would like you to do some investigating in the garden or a public park (if accompanied by an adult).

If you have permission you could even have a dig through the soil. As you'll discover when we read holes, the characters aren't digging for any real purpose, but if they find something interesting they must report it.

See if you can find anything interesting or unexpected buried in your garden or nearby public space.

We recognise this task may be hard to complete if you are indeed working from home but it is important we mirror in class learning as much as possible.
