Working together for success and happiness

Friday 16th July

READING

Here is Chapter 30 for you to enjoy.

You can read it by yourself, listen to me reading or do a bit of both.

Remember to clarify, predict, summarise, connect and question.

ENGLISH

Look at the document below.

Today we will be visualising.

Read the extract really carefully and clarify any vocabulary you don't know.

Then complete the two tasks:

1) What impressions do you get of the dragons? What do they make you think of? Who do they remind you of? Why do you think this?

2) Visualise and draw the scene using labels and colour if possible.

MATHS

Here is Arithmetic 2.

As usual, there is a mix of questions: some are simple and straightforward, some require a bit of thinking and some are challenging.

Have a go as best you can.
